BURNING BUSH JAM

       The Name Burning Bush

Many have asked how I came up with the name for my hobby.  I wanted to start a hobby doing something I enjoy.  I love eating anything with jalapenos in it, and I love hot foods.  I thought about jams, but I wanted my jams to be different from those currently on the market so I experimented with different fruits and put, you guessed it, JALAPENOS, in everything.  Many of my friends and family liked it, so I decided to try a jalapeno jam hobby.
I wanted my hobby to be pleasing to God.  As I was searching in the Bible and praying about a name for my hobby, I was thinking about God speaking to Moses through a BURNING BUSH about a specific plan He had for Moses to do.  I don't know exactly what God's plan for my hobby is, but I thought what a perfect name for my hobby.

I have finished my first year at the Meade Park and Pen Park Markets.  What I enjoyed most was meeting my customers and vendors, learning some tips of the trade, and getting first-hand reactions and comments from my customers when they tasted my jam product--most of them quite favorable, a lot pleasantly surprised.  All my jams have jalapenos in them, mixed with different fruits, so they are hot, some more so than others.

All I can say is if you try my products, you will be glad you did, and for those of you who don't like hot or spicy, you will most likely LOVE MY JAMS if you will only try them.
Use your imagination, and you can use the Burning Bush Jams with just about anything to add flavor to your foods.

It hasn't worked out for me to be at any of the Farmer's Markets so far in the 2012 season.  But don't worry.  I will be getting my garden planted with jalapeno and habanero plants and fruit plants so you will still be able to buy my jams.  Just email me at burningbushjam@hughes.net and let me know what you want or better yet--give me a call and leave me a message with your name and phone number(s) with the best time to call you or you can use the order form.
